In the heat of the MacArthur Park District of the Capital City you'll find an old firehouse from the early 1900's.
"The most unique hostel in the world. Where you can spend the night in an old fire station that's a museum," says former LR Firefighter Johnny Reep. "The legend is the horses were allowed to graze in the park and when they heard the bell they would run over and allow themselves to hitch up."
Now that was 1917, after a couple weeks with the fire horses at this location, the fire engines showed up.
100 years and a lot of restoration work later, this firehouse is now a fire hostel.
