On Sunday, March 19, 2017, around 4 pm, the Rogers Police and Fire Departments responded to an accident at the Walmart located at 4208 S Pleasant Crossing Blvd in Rogers.
Fredrick Guidry, age 79 of Lowell, was driving 2006 Ford Focus in the parking lot of Walmart when he struck Joshua Smith, age 27, and Ashley Grishby, age 27, both of Bentonville, as they were walking toward the store.
Guidry’s vehicle collided with a pole and came to rest in front of the store.
Medics from the Rogers Fire Department assessed Guidry but he was deceased prior to their arrival.
