No injures were reported in an afternoon structure fire on Paradise Circle in Mayflower on Tuesday. Mayflower police and firefighters were called out to a housefire at 32 Paradise Circle just after 1 p.m. Lt. Wesley Tyra said a woman was burning leaves and had gone back inside the house with her two children when the fire spread. “A neighbor alerted her that her house was on fire and she was able to get out with her two kids safely,” he said. “She had been burning leaves in the front yard. She thought the burn ban had been lifted.”
