At approximately 10:07 hours on Friday, November 2nd, Mobile Fire-Rescue Department crews were dispatched to the 2000 block of Hathcox Street.
Neighbors reported flames and smoke visible from a single family dwelling.
Upon arrival on scene, fire personnel confirmed a working house fire and were able to control the scene and quickly extinguish flames.
The residential structure was unoccupied at the time, and no fire personnel were injured during the incident.
Fire Investigators interviewed neighbors and reviewed the scene to determine a cause of the fire, at which time, potential ignition sites were noted inside the home.
