An Ashford home is destroyed, and possibly two others are damaged by fire early Thursday morning.
At about 3 a.m., Ashford Fire responded to a structure fire on Ashford Road.
“Right now we are looking at one home being a complete loss, one neighbor’s home received damages from the heat of the fire, and the third home, well, we are still waiting to have damages confirmed,” said Ashford Police Chief Quinton Vann.
The fire is still under investigation. All information received through the Ashford Police Department, the Houston County Sheriff’s Office and the Ashford Fire Department will be turned over to the Alabama Fire Marshal’s Office for investigation. “Information is limited at this time,” Vann said. “We can determine the fire started in the home which is a complete loss."
