Fire reported at historic Larimore house in Florence

Florence Deputy Fire Chief Tim Anerton confirmed the historic Larimore House in Florence caught fire around 10:00pm Thursday night. Anerton thinks the fire started on the ground and spread to the second floor then into the attic on the left side of the house. Right now, the fire chief told us the house will most likely be a total loss, but luckily no injuries were reported at this time. The historic Larimore House was built in the 1870's, and power was cut from the home just weeks ago becuase of another fire that damaged the house. Fire crews are on the scene investigating what exactly happened, WAAY 31 will keep you updated when more information comes in.
