A Russellville man was killed in a one-car accident Thursday morning on Alabama 24, just west of Russellville.
Matthew Christopher Lynch, 19, died when the truck he was driving ran off the roadway, flipped over and crashed, Senior Trooper Johnathan Appling, a public information officer with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, said.
The accident occurred around 7 a.m. near a bridge just past the Franklin 36 intersection between Russellville and Belgreen.
Appling said Lynch was driving a Nissan pickup that struck a guardrail and overturned.
