On Tuesday, Redstone Arsenal's garrison held their annual full-scale exercise, simulating a tornado hitting the housing area on post. It involved simulated casualties, damage and even communications, allowing the garrison to practice emergency response.
"What we have learned time and time again is that the more you practice, the more you rehearse, no matter what life throws at you, you will have seen something close to it or something similar to it, that you can react to," said garrison commander Colonel Thomas Holliday.
