Investigators are searching for the thieves who broke into a half-dozen firefighters' personal vehicles at a Birmingham fire station. Someone broke into five vehicles at Fire Station 20, which is located on Avenue W near the Birmingham Crossplex and the West Police Precinct. This is the fourth time over the last few months that someone has stolen from firefighters' vehicles at the fire station, according to Birmingham City Councilor Kim Rafferty. She said Fire Station No. 20 is one of six without a security fence around the parking lot.
