One person hurt while escaping a mobile home fire in New Hope

A homeowner in New Hope got hurt while getting out of his mobile home that was on fire. The fire started just after 11:00 Monday night on the 1500 block of Paint Rock Road. Crews with the New Hope Volunteer Fire Department arrived to find the home engulfed in flames. It took them roughly 30 minutes to get the fire under control. Paint Rock Road was blocked off for several hours, while firefighters were on the scene. The homeowner cut his hands while trying to get out. Investigators are trying to figure out how the fire started. The American Red Cross is helping the homeowner.
