It seems every time members of the Cloverdale Volunteer Fire Department were on a fire call for a long time, their air tanks would run out.
Without a system to refill the tanks, firefighters would be forced to go to another station that had a refill system.
“We had a system that would hold air in five tanks and we could fill from them, but it’s not like having an air system,” said Cloverdale Fire Chief Matt James. “If we run out in our air tanks or the fill system, we would have to go to either Central or Underwood-Petersville to refill.
