It is not unusual for local first responders to receive an emergency call about an aircraft experiencing a problem as the pilot prepares to land at the Dothan Regional Airport.
In most cases, they land without a problem and emergency crews are able to return back to their stations.
That might not always be the case, however, which is why several local first responders were at the airport on Tuesday morning, training for the worst.
