Four firefighters with the Alabama Forestry Commission are on the scene of a wildfire just south of Billy Walker Road in Citronelle. Officials say the fire is estimated at approximately 80 acres in size. Crews are currently using bulldozers to plow containment lines around the flames. They hope to contain the fire by 6PM. The wildfire is burning in a heavily wooded area northwest of Citronelle. Officials are currently working to contain hotspots where the fire has jumped across control lines. No homes are in immediate danger at this time.
