The Capital City Fire Rescue at Glacier Station opened up their facilities to the public for an Open House event, offering free food and rides in the fire trucks for kids and adults, as well as interaction opportunities with the team. The Open House was in celebration of their expanded garage and new trucks, giving the team more capabilities to assist during emergencies. These amendments were in response to the expansion of Alaska Airlines and increased air traffic.
