Fire Marshal Daniel Jager of Juneau’s Capital City Fire Rescue has been awarded the professional designation of “Chief Fire Officer” from the Commission on Professional Credentialing, an entity of the Center for Public Safety Excellence.
The CFO designation program is a voluntary one designed to recognize individuals who demonstrate their excellence in seven measured components, including experience, education, professional development, professional contributions, association memberships, community involvement and technical competence. All applicants are required, also, to identify a future professional development plan.
