Fire chiefs captured in racy photos on what was supposed to be a business trip are still in the hot seat. The county manager wants their boss to resign, but chief Steven Gonzales refuses to turn in a letter of resignation. "There's been a lot of public outcry," county manager Danny Monette said.
Target 7 first told you about Gonzales and two of his fire chiefs. They were on a taxpayer-funded trip to a conference in Indiana last month.
During a lunch, someone snapped photos of the men dressed in uniform, with some scantily clad women.
The picture with Chief Gonzales had to be blurred, because of its graphic nature.
"There were personnel policies broken," Monette said.
All three were placed on leave and have since returned to work, but county commissioners got an earful from the public Wednesday during a regular meeting.
