A $6.9 million dollar grant approved Wednesday by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will not only save 32 firefighter positions in Flint , but will also require the city to hire seven new recruits according to the head of the Flint Firefighters Union. "It's a good day for the citizens, they are the real winners in all this," said Trent Farnsworth, president of the Flint Firefighters Union.
