VIDEO: Traffic is moving again after a deadly crash involving a fire truck shut down part of I-40 in Fayette County. One man died in the crash and two firefighters were airlifted to the Med. The pumper truck protected the men who were found lying on the ground next to it after a Ford truck pulling a trailer left the east bound lane and ran into the median crashing into the Braden fire truck. The truck was parked as three firefighters put out a grass fire. "The guys had already extinguished the fire," said Winfrey. "They were trying to get the apparatus back in service. They were putting the hose back on it and the vehicle ran off the edge of the road and ran into back of pumper."
