Chief Eggleston has been a leading voice in promoting firefighter safety and wellness and has been actively involved in leadership at the national level. He has a breadth of experience serving our members on the boards of the IAFC and Volunteer and Combination Officers Section (VCOS). He has been active with the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation and the Firefighter Cancer Support Network. In 2016, he was acclaimed as IAFC Career Chief of the Year for his accomplishments, dedication and positive impact on the fire service profession.
