Firefighter/EMT
Bainbridge Island Fire Department will be testing to fill the position of Firefighter/EMT and to establish an eligibility list. The position responds to fire and medical emergencies for the purpose of saving lives and protecting property. The position also supports a wide range of Department programs and events as assigned. This is a full time, emergency responder position. Salary range is based upon the IAFF Local 4034 contract, currently $4925.20 – $6156.50/mo. IFSAC FF1 certification and Washington State EMT certification or National Registry certification as EMT is required at time of application. There is a $25.00 non refundable application fee. Completed applications will be accepted from 0800 January 21, 2010 through 1700 February 26, 2010 or until the first 150 completed applications are received, whichever comes first.
